Coding for Immigrants

Coding for Immigrants was a Stockholm-based initiative founded by Brittany Villegas A Stockholm-based initiative that helps newcomers to Sweden access tech careers through mentoring, projects and peer learning.
This project is grassroots-led and supported by various volunteers in the local developer community.

Mimmit Koodaa

Mimmit koodaa is an award-winning program that strengthens skills and diversity in tech. We create low-threshold opportunities for women to learn, grow, and find their place in the industry – together with a community of 100+ partner companies.

Sommarkodare

Sommarkodare was a remote summer coding course (June–August 2022) hosted by Carolina J. Säll, Eja Höglund, Martin Alge, and Anton Myrberg, reaching around 200 participants. Thanks to our collaboration partners we created 19 YouTube workshops and an extensive resource bank that we could share with all of the attendees to help them becoming developers.

Django Girls Uppsala

Django Girls is a global non-profit offering free one-day workshops to teach women programming with Python and Django. The workshop was held by Nikita Churikov from SciLifeLab, Uppsala University, Gabriela Moraes, Anastasia Potekhina and Beatriz Uezu from PyLadies and Django girls and Carolina J. Säll from 46elks and PyCon Sweden.

Go2Human Hub

Go2Human Hub is a Croatian-based platform connecting virtual assistants with companies worldwide, providing remote support, onboarding services, and community mentorship for assistants.

  • November 2021 – “Sending SMS from Notion with 46elks” together with Rene Brakus and Sanja Veletanlić.

PyCon Sweden

PyCon Sweden is the annual Swedish conference for the Python programming community, organised by Python Sverige (a Swedish non-profit) since 2014.
