My name is Carolina, and I’m a curious and creative soul who loves building both digital experiences and human meeting places. Today, I work as a product designer in tech, where I combine user-centered design, strategic communication, and thoughtful problem-solving to create valuable, smart, and visually refined solutions. Over the years, I’ve also worked as a developer, project manager, and within DevRel—experiences that have given me a holistic understanding of both the code behind the product and the people in front of the screen, as well as how clear communication connects the two.

Alongside my work, I’m deeply involved in the tech community. I’m on the board of PyCon Sweden, mentor and lead workshops with PyLadies & Django Girls, and have given talks and coding workshops for everything from Coding for Immigrants to Mimmit Koodaa and Uppsala Women Coding. Creating inclusive spaces where more people feel encouraged to step into the tech world is something I’m truly passionate about—and I love seeing the spark in someone who’s just written their first line of code.

 

When I’m not designing user experiences or leading workshops, you’ll likely find me with a paintbrush or crochet hook in hand. Or renovating mine and my boyfriends country farm in Enviksbyn, one room at a time. I illustrate graphic paintings, paint watercolors, crochet things I may (or may not) need, grow everything from physalis to flowers—and organize food safaris for friends where we try dishes from around the world.
I’m also always on the hunt for the next favorite restaurant—so tips are warmly welcome!
